BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Chase Properties Ltd., a Beachwood, Ohio-based owner and operator of shopping centers, announces the acquisition of The Columns in Jackson, Tennessee. The Columns is an approximately 268,000 square foot shopping center that is anchored by Ross Dress for Less, Best Buy, Old Navy, Marshalls and Bed Bath & Beyond. The property is shadow-anchored by Kohl’s, Ulta, Dick’s Sporting Good and Hobby Lobby. Disney Investment Group brokered the sale.
The property is the dominant shopping center in Jackson and serves as a retail hub for a significant trade area. Other retailers within close proximity include Super Walmart, Sam’s Club Home Depot and Lowe’s.
The Columns is Chase Properties’ third acquisition in the past year, as the company continues to expand by acquiring high quality shopping centers in secondary and tertiary markets.
